MLM Productions, a successful marketing and packaging design firm, brought DF Communications on board in the spring of 1999 to help them transform their vision for their company's web site into a sophisticated full-fledged portfolio site that demonstrated their capabilities and creativity in a number of different areas.

MLM's in-house staff first created a series of storyboards illustrating what they wanted the site to look like, then described in detail the interactive features they wanted to include on each page.

DF Communications helped MLM organize its ideas to create a better flow, developed the site architecture and navigation, and set design specifications and requirements for the interactive parts of the site. We worked with and guided their staff throughout the process to address cross-browser compatibility issues and ensure optimum graphics production --the key to successfully producing a graphics-driven site.

We recommended and implemented several javascript-driven features such as image rollovers with attention grabbing call-outs, pop-up windows for showing samples of their work, and an animated splash screen. We also reviewed and copy-edited the site content.
